  • Sydney Camera Hire’s Canon FD prime lenses are some of the most desirable and sorted after lenses currently available.  These lenses are very similar is character, personality, and sharpness to the famed Canon K35 prime lenses, but the Canon FD lenses offer 330 degree focus throw and superior sharpness at the wide aperture settings.   • Sydney Camera Hire’s Canon FD vintage cine mod lens kit feature many of the same world famous optics that are in our more expensive rehoused Canon FD lens kit. Each lens been converted form FD to Canon EF and works with any Canon EF camera or mount. They have permanent focus gears, and 80mm front rings with threads that accept 77mm filters. If you you are chasing the iconic Canon FD loo, but need a more affordable form factor, this set is a great option.

    Each lens has been Cine-Modded by Duclos lenses, and features a new 80mm front with threads for 77mm filters, permanent focus gear, de-clicked iris, and Canon EF mount. All the lenses have full Frame coverage.

  • Sydney Cameras Hire’s Contax Zeiss Super Speed lens consists of x 7 beautifully rehoused vintage Contax Zeiss lenses. Have developed a world famous reputation over recent years, Sydney Camera Hire’s Contax Zeiss Super Speed set ooze with character and create classic images on digital sensors.

    Featuring the same glass, coating and general design as the legendary Zeiss Super Speeds used by Kubrick in ‘The Shining’, ‘Full Metal Jacket’ and ‘Lost in Translation’, in recent times some DOP’s have opted to shoot on Contax Zeiss Super Speeds over Zeiss Super Speeds because they cover full frame and large format sensors.

    Each lens in Sydney Camera Hire’s Contax Zeiss Super Speed set features interchangeable lens mounts, which can be fitted with PL, LPL, EF and E mounts, as well as, a 95mm front diameter, and a de-clicked aperture control ring. The lenses also feature standard mod 0.8 focus and iris gears at uniform positions across all of the lenses, enabling fast lens changes without having to adjust your follow focus position. Additionally, all of the lenses have 330° focus rotation for smooth and precise focus adjustments. Focus and aperture markings are placed on the sides of the lenses for easy viewing by focus pullers.

  • The Fujinon MK18-55mm T2.9 Lens in E Mount is a lightweight cine-style zoom lens for E-mount cameras with a Super 35mm-sized sensor. It features a mechanical design with three independent lens control rings: focus, iris, and zoom. Each ring incorporates a cine-style gear with a 0.8 MOD for interfacing with standard cine -style lens accessories. The focus ring features approximately 200° of rotation, which provides room or precise focus pulls, and the iris is clickless, enabling smooth iris pulls. The lens also incorporates a macro mode for close focusing capabilities.

    The lens is colour matched to other Fujinon lenses such as the HK, ZK, and XK series, which enables smooth intercutting between lenses. The 85mm front enables use with many cine-style matte boxes via use of optional step up rings (rings not included). The lens weighs only 2.16 pounds, which is fairly light for a cinema zoom that holds focus and aperture throughout the focal length range. It is designed for camera’s with a Sony E mount, so it has a short flange focal distance, but the lens allows for flange focal distance adjustment so you can fine tune it to the camera you are using the lens on.

  • Sydney Camera Hire’s Fujinon MK18-55 & MK50-135 lens kit includes two lightweight, T2.9 zoom lenses for E-mount cameras with a Super-35mm-sized sensor. The lenses feature independent focus, iris, and zoom rings, approximately 200° of focus rotation, 0.8 MOD cine-style gears, a clickless iris, and a macro mode. They are colour matched to one-another as well as to other Fujinon lenses, such as the HK, ZK, and XK series.

  • Sydney Camera Hire’s Fujinon XK20-120mm T3.5 Cabrio Premier Lens is the lens only and does not include the servo zoom unit, which you can source separately. It is a wide-to-telephoto zoom lens for Super 35mm cameras and features a PL mount. The focus, zoom, and iris barrels are geared with standard 0.8 Mod gears, which provides an interface for the optional ENG-style digital drive unit.

    The rear PL mount features electrical contacts for sharing ARRI LDS and Cooke /i Technology lens data with the camera; however, you need the optional digital drive unit to activate these contacts. An included rectangular lens hood provides flare protection and is useful for run-and-gun or ENG-style shooting. A removable lens support is included with the lens.
