The incredible 6K CMOS sensor, featuring 19.4 Megapixels, creates a flawless shooting platform with nine times more megapixels than HD video.  With superior details than 35mm film in both latitude and image density, the RED DRAGON-X sensor produces softer skins tones and stunning primary colours.

A camera for professional filmmakers and advanced videographers, the RED DRAGON-X 6K features improved noise control and low-light performance, allowing for the ISO to be pushed to 2000 ISO while still produce super footage for the big screen.

American made with an ultra-lightweight carbon fibre and machined magnesium body, Sydney Camera Hire’s RED DRAGON-X 6K with a DSM2 brain is a weapon of choice for cinematographers looking to create world class music videos, feature films, television drama or documentaries for broadcast.

    Sydney Camera Hire’s 20″ Master C-Stand with Sliding Leg Kit (black) is a steel lighting support “C” stand composed of two legs that are spring loaded to open in fixed positions while the third leg is height adjustable by loosening the knob and sliding it up and down the main riser section. This enables the user to raise one leg higher than the other legs to level out the stand on uneven terrain or even stairs. The Kupo 20″ Master C-Stand rises to a maximum height of 198cm.

    Sydney Camera Hire is excited to hire the RED Komodo 6K.  Weighing only 900 grams and fitting in the palm of your hand, the RED Komodo comes with a Canon RF Lens mount, 19.9MP Super35 CMOS Global Shutter sensor and 16+ stops of dynamic range.

    Featuring a game changing rolling shutter, Sydney Camera Hire’s RED Komodo can record 6K at 40 fps, 5K at 48 fps, 4K at 60 fps and 2K at 120 fps in Redcode RAW.  Using CFast 2.0 media, the RED Komodo provides data rates up to 280 MB/s.

    The RED Komodo’s RF-style mount has a shallow flange depth allows the camera to be adapted to most other popular mount types such as PL, EF, and Leica M with some mounts offering ND filtration.

    A first for Red is the ability to use Phase-Detect Autofocus with compatible lenses. This includes adapted Canon EF-mount lenses used with a separately available EF-to-RF adapter.

    When it comes with ports and connections, The RED Komodo features an integrated stereo microphones and a 3.5mm input for audio. Also, an EXT port provides Genlock, timecode, GPIO and RS232. A 12G-SDI port will support up to DCI 4K at 60 fps in 10-bit 4:2:2.

The V-RAPTOR’s RF lens mount is compatible with a range of adapters, allowing cinematographers to shoot  with PL and EF lenses.

    Equipped with 17+ stops of dynamic range,  dual 12G-SDI outputs, and 16-bit REDCODE Raw at much higher frame rates than the DSMC cameras, means the Red Digital Cinema V-Raptor 8K VV can tackle any production you throw at it.

    Featuring a new 35.4MP full-frame sensor 17+ stops of dynamic range, the RED Raptor excels in low-light and has the lowest noise floor of any cinema camera in the RED lineup.
    When it comes to high speed shooting, the RAPTOR is in a class of its own and is capable of 8K 17:9 at 120fps, 6K S35 at 198 fps, 4K 17:9 at 240 fps and 2K 2.4:1 up to  600 fps.
