  • Sydney Camera Hire’s Canon FD prime lenses are some of the most desirable and sorted after lenses currently available.  These lenses are very similar is character, personality, and sharpness to the famed Canon K35 prime lenses, but the Canon FD lenses offer 330 degree focus throw and superior sharpness at the wide aperture settings. OOF highlights and bokeh are extremely pleasing, while offering an outstanding sharpness throughout the frame. The Canon VINTAGE-FD lenses help digital sensors achieve character and a “look” that is flattering to flesh tones and OOF objects.

  • Sydney Camera Hire is excited to hire the RED Komodo 6K.  Weighing only 900 grams and fitting in the palm of your hand, the RED Komodo comes with a Canon RF Lens mount, 19.9MP Super35 CMOS Global Shutter sensor and 16+ stops of dynamic range.

  • Sydney Camera Hire’s Nanlite Para 150 quick-open soft box creates even lighting with a wrap-around quality and natural-looking catchlights. Its 43″ depth produces a focused light with increased directional control, minimal spill light, and significant falloff.

The Quick-Open design makes the Nanlite Para 150 soft box from Sydney Camera Hire much easier to set up and breakdown compared to traditional softboxes that require the assembly of rods and speed rings. Nanlite provides both a 1-stop and a 2-stop front diffuser to enable even more adjustment of light quality. Also, using neither diffuser turns the Para 150 into a large reflector outputting high contrast light.

  • Building upon the same design as the classic Aputure Lantern, the Sydney Camera Hire’s Aputure  Lantern 90 pairs the same quick-build system with an even larger surface area to provide an even softer volumetric lighting solution.
